What is MemoryDock?
MemoryDock is a voice notes app for iPhone that also supports typed notes. You capture a thought by voice or text, organize it under Personal or Work categories, then find it later with search, favorites, recents, or the Memory Vault archive. A companion web app is available for signed-in account access.
How much does MemoryDock cost?
MemoryDock downloads free on the App Store and uses in-app purchases for MemoryDock Pro. Current US list prices are $3.99 per month, $19.99 per year, or $39.99 lifetime. Apple may show localized prices at checkout.
Is there a lifetime option?
Yes. MemoryDock Lifetime is a one-time, non-renewing App Store purchase currently listed at $39.99 USD. It is not an auto-renewable subscription.
Can I capture notes by voice?
Yes on supported iPhones with an active plan. Spoken input is converted to editable text primarily through Apple’s speech-recognition framework. You can review and edit the transcript before saving. Typed capture is also available.
Can I lock private notes with Face ID?
Yes on iPhone. Lock Memory uses Apple device-owner authentication (Face ID or Touch ID where supported, with device passcode fallback). MemoryDock does not store biometric templates and receives only success or failure. Locked previews are hidden. Web unlock is not implemented in v1.
Does MemoryDock have a web app?
Yes. Sign in at memorydockapp.com/app with the same MemoryDock account used on iPhone. Purchases and subscription management are handled in the iOS app through Apple.
Does MemoryDock support French?
Yes. MemoryDock includes English and French app language support. Notes can be stamped with language at creation for language-scoped retrieval.
How is MemoryDock different from Apple Voice Memos?
Apple Voice Memos is built around audio recordings you can play back, edit, and (on supported devices) transcribe. MemoryDock is built around saved note text from voice or typing, with Personal/Work organization, categories, search, favorites, vault archive, and optional per-note lock.
Where are my notes stored?
Saved note text is stored in your signed-in MemoryDock cloud account so you can access memories across supported devices. MemoryDock does not intentionally save raw microphone audio as a permanent memory item. Optional cloud AI features are off by default.
Does MemoryDock work without an internet connection?
MemoryDock is not an offline-first notebook. Saving notes requires reachable account connectivity. Voice transcription uses Apple speech recognition and may depend on device capabilities, on-device speech assets, permissions, and network conditions. Typed capture still requires a connection to save.
